Ingredients
- 600 g chicken breast or thigh
- 500 ml water
- 25 g salt, for the brine
- ½ cup flour
- 3 cups Japanese breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1½ tsp garlic powder
- 1½ tsp onion powder
- 1½ tsp paprika
- 1½ tsp salt
- 1½ tsp black pepper
- 6 tbsp ketchup
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce (optional)
- Cooking oil, for deep-frying
